Changing caller ID from portal takes sometime to propagate. usually it takes 10-15 minutes, if you are still getting old caller id at receiver end then there could be 3 problems.

  1. you are using DID number which doesn't support CNAM, so system is not able to check your caller ID for its validity.
  2. you might be using caller id which is not valid, system checks caller id for validation from internet, if it does not find your number valid then it will not accept it.
  3. your given caller id is not available in public domain or that caller ID is reported as spam number.


if any of above statement is true then your given caller id will not be displayed on receiver end.
